Restaurant Moon MICHELIN Guide 2026 – Fifth Consecutive Recommendation

It is our great joy and honour to share wonderful news with you – Restaurant Moon is once again part of the prestigious MICHELIN Guide recommendations in 2026. This is our fifth consecutive recognition (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026) and a confirmation that we are on the right path.

Our first year in our new home

The 2026 recommendation holds special meaning for us – it marks our first year in our new home in the G-building at Telliskivi 60/4, where we moved last summer after 15 years on Võrgu Street. Moments like this put the whole team’s cooperation, flexibility and dedication to the test. The fact that MICHELIN inspectors found their way to us after the move and continue to recommend Moon in its new home is the most important confirmation for our team that we made the right decision.

Thanks to our team and guests

This recognition would not be possible without our wonderful team. Every person in the Moon team contributes to making every detail matter and every guest feel cared for.

We would especially like to thank head chef Roman Zaštšerinski, whose creativity, courage and consistent quality are reflected on every plate; Moon’s hostess Jana Zaštšerinski, whose warm hospitality and care create the right atmosphere in our dining room; and Moon’s soul, Svetlana Javorskaja – our sommelier, whose professionalism and deep knowledge of the world of wine have enriched every guest’s dinner experience.

We sincerely thank our entire team – the kitchen, the dining room, the sommeliers, the managers – and every guest who has sat at our tables over the past five years, followed us to our new location and believed in us.

Words from Head Chef Roman

Moon’s head chef Roman Zaštšerinski spoke to ERR about the role of the Telliskivi quarter in Moon’s journey:

The Telliskivi quarter and all of this feels like a great win. I know that many of my acquaintances who are located a little outside the good areas have it much harder. People are very selective about where they go, and right now they are very much voting with their wallets.

– Roman Zaštšerinski

When asked whether Moon longs for a MICHELIN star, Roman answered honestly:

Absolutely not, I hope that does not happen to us. It is a great fear for us, because on the one hand it brings in a lot of customers, but if it happens that we do not manage to keep up the following year, it kills our business. We are a modest 150-seat little restaurant in Telliskivi.

– Roman Zaštšerinski

A sign that we are on the right path

For us, a MICHELIN recommendation is not a goal in itself – it is a sign that we are on the right path. It inspires us to work even harder to bring you honest and seasonal flavours, created from the heart, with passion and respect for the ingredients.

See you at Moon, in Telliskivi.
