For several summers, Moon has had a special place in Muhu. This summer, we’re also inviting you to join us in Setomaa, at Kaidi’s Kirsi Talo.
Setomaa is a place where time moves differently. People here have their own language, faith and song tradition – leelo, recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage – as well as their own kingdom, crowned anew each summer. Smoke sauna traditions, patterned woven belts and old food traditions passed down through generations are all held in high regard.
That is exactly why we want to bring Moon here. Our kitchen is always looking for places that offer new experiences and inspiration, and Setomaa offers something rare – an entire way of life. We want to sit among the people here and share a piece of our own heritage with them. And dear Kaidi at Kirsi Talo makes all of this possible for us.
